Local Friends! Come see me at Lower Gywnedd Township’s Pike Fest on Saturday 9/14 on Bethlehem Pike in Spring House. I’ll have a tent set-up on the Pike from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. I will have some small giveaways to help you create your own fresh, family-friendly and timeless home. Plus, I will also be holding a raffle for a free in-home design consultation (valued at $250).

There will be plenty of food and amusements for the kids up and down the Pike all day. So let the kids play and we can talk design. Hope to see you there!

After a quiet couple of months here on the blog, I’m finally back with some exciting news…I’m officially open for business! I couldn’t be more excited to introduce you to to my new venture, Styling Gypsy Interior Design LLC.

This summer was a bit of a whirlwind and while it was always my intention to launch the business this year, I probably would not have gotten things moving at the time that I did had opportunity not come a knockin’.  But when you meet a super cool couple who just bought a new house and are willing to put their trust in you to help them make it a fresh space for their family and a home they love, you quickly roll up your sleeves and jump right in.

I feel about 10 years late to the party.  Blogs (which I’m pretty sure are just called websites now) seem so 2008, but my husband says I’m always late so this is fitting.  I’ve loved design since I was young.  Some of my favorite memories from my childhood are the antique road trips my Mom and I would take through central Virginia.  I loved the history behind all the pieces in the shops we would visit and almost every time it came time to redo my bedroom an antique made its way into the mix.  But it wasn’t until I discovered the world of style & design blogs that I realized how passionate I was about interior design and started thinking it might be an avenue for something more.
